Perfect mix of sightseeing and wildlife. The dolphins were amazing and the history and landmarks kept it interesting. Shell Key was peaceful and untouched just bring what you need. Highly recommend.

Beautiful relaxing ride out to Shell Key with great views the whole way. We saw dolphins pelicans and even a sea turtle. The captain’s stories about Johns Pass made it even better. Definitely worth it.

Enjoy a calm and relaxing ride while taking in the coastline. Spot wildlife along the way and learn about local islands and landmarks from the captain’s narration.
Arrival at Shell Key
Explore the untouched shoreline, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This is a great spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty.
Dolphin Tour Route
Continue along the scenic route past Elnor Island, Johns Pass Bridge, and Jungle Prada. Keep an eye out for dolphins, pelicans, and loggerhead turtles.
History and Storytelling

  • Accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Hotel or dock pick-ups are done to the closest accessible areas; some dock areas and boardwalks at Johns Pass and Shell Key have ramps or uneven surfaces.
  • Health: Not recommended for travelers with back problems, pregnant travelers, or those with serious heart conditions. Most travelers can participate.
  • Safety: Life jackets are provided on board. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets are not allowed. Guests should be able to walk on uneven surfaces when boarding or stepping onto sandbars.
  • Arrival: Please arrive at the Johns Pass departure dock at least 15–30 minutes prior to departure. Departure times may vary slightly due to traffic, tides, or weather conditions.
  • Weather & Operation: The tour operates rain or shine; in case of extreme weather or unsafe sea conditions, a full refund or reschedule will be offered. The captain may adjust the route or swim stops at Shell Key depending on weather and tides.
  • Swim & Sightseeing Stops: Guests can swim or wade at designated shallow areas near Shell Key. Water shoes are recommended. Please wear dark-colored or black swimwear, as sand, shells, and sea conditions may discolor light clothing.
  • Photography & Electronics: Photography is encouraged, but please do not interfere with crew operations. Mobile phone signal may be weak in some areas near Shell Key.
  • Environment & Wildlife: Guests may see local wildlife, including dolphins, seabirds, and manatees. Please do not feed wildlife or throw objects into the water.
